Transition for many involves more than getting a one-time handout. It involves programs that help people in need adjust long-term. Our six core partners have numerous programs to help those in need transition to a better life.

  • Community Mobile Church is One Heart’s most effective evangelistic ministries. One Heart assists churches in reaching people in their community through a carnival style atmosphere (using inflatables, games, food, etc). Community members are presented the Lord and His word.
  • One Heart Fall Camp is held annually at Laguna Beach. The camp focuses on God’s word, leadership, and team building to draw teenagers closer to God. Participants are from their TNT ministry, school devotional programs, and church partnerships.
  • School Devotions consist of weekly student devotionals held at the high schools on specific days before the school day begins.
  • Thursday Night Transformation serves young people whose parents struggle to survive financially and have little time to parent, teach and nurture their children. The young people play basketball, attend devotionals, and are feed a dinner each Thursday night when Rockdale County schools are in session.
  • Feeding the Homeless incorporates several ministries within One Heart. Bimonthly, One Heart members travel to Atlanta to feed the homeless at Safehouse Outreach. Not only are the homeless fed delicious food but they are also fed spiritually. Locally, One Heart has partnered with Discover Point Church to feed the homeless and those in need of help through a program called “Families feeding Families”.
  • Xtra Mile Ministry utilizes national surplus resources to meet the basic needs of those in our community. Volunteers fill boxes with food and take them to families who have been identified as those needing assistance. These volunteers pray with the families and form relationships in order to gain a platform on which to share the gospel.
  • One Heart’s Prison Ministry focuses on inmates at Atlanta Transitional Center. Bimonthly, One Heart prepares a meal for the inmates at Atlanta Transitional Center. Games are played, gospel songs are sung, and relationships are built. Love is shown to the inmates and hope for a new beginning is shared through the gospel.
  • Fellowship of Believers (FOB) is the fulfillment of a vision God has given to One Heart Ministries. Members see God’s church come together in unity and reach all men, women, and children for Jesus Christ. On Sunday night of each week, members meet for a time of praise, worship, and fellowship that glorifies Jesus Christ and The Church that God has established.
