Mercy Heart Clinic

The mission of Mercy Heart Clinic is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care for low-income, uninsured residents of Rockdale County. Mercy Heart is a nonprofit, charitable health clinic that provides basic, preventive medical and dental care. They offer preventative medical care for those with diabetes, hypertension, chronic heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Their dental care includes prophylaxis, extractions and fillings. Health and wellness education and diabetes classes are scheduled through their Nurse Practitioner. New Covenant Fellowship

New Covenant Fellowship exists to glorify God and enjoy His grace. They do that by worshiping the Triune God, proclaiming and obeying His Word, caring for each other as a family of believers, evangelizing the lost, making disciples, and partaking in the sacraments of the Church in order to impact the world locally and globally. They are a non-denominational Christian spiritual resource available to all who come to Restoration Storehouse.

One Heart Ministries Inc

One Heart Ministries Inc. exists to serve people’s spiritual needs and physical needs. One Heart’s ministries transcend all barriers, all divisions, and all distinctions that separate, divide, or segregate people from each other and from God. Their core values are to love God and to love all people. Their works are the physical manifestation of what they believe – to minister to serve.

One Heart Ministries offers a variety of service programs for youth, schools, community prisons, church partnerships and Honduras mission trips. These programs include Christmas Hope, Community Mobile Church, One Heart Fall camp, School Devotions, Thursday Night Transformation, Feeding the Homeless at Safehouse Outreach in Atlanta, Xtra Mile Ministries, One Heart’s Prison Ministries for the Atlanta Transitional Center, and Fellowship of Believers. Prevent Child Abuse Rockdale

Prevent Child Abuse Rockdale (PCAR) exists to prevent child abuse in Rockdale County through awareness, education, and collaboration and is committed to ensuring that all children grow up in safe, loving, nurturing environments free from all forms of abuse, neglect and violence. PCAR has a strong history of providing a variety of parent education and public awareness programs to the community. PCAR was developed in 1989 and chartered in 1990 under Prevent Child Abuse Georgia/America. PCAR functions under the authority of a local Board of Directors that provide administrative oversight and financial management including budgeting, personnel and planning, as well as direction and administrative oversight to ensure that the organization operates within expectations in an efficient, customer-friendly and administratively sound manner. Rockdale Coalition for Families and Children

The Rockdale Coalition for Children and Families (RCCF) works to facilitate and support collaborative initiatives that promote the healthy, drug-free well-being of children and families in the Rockdale community. Through their undertaking of assisting families with basic needs, RCCF has taken the lead in spearheading several of these initiatives: Community Resource Network, Days of Connection, Drug-free Community Coalition, Community Safetynet, Housing Opportunities for People Experiencing Setbacks (HOPES) Coalition, John K Morgan Community Service Scholarship, Local Interagency Planning Team (LIPT), Nonprofit Resource Summit, and Rockdale Employment and Career Help (REACH) Coalition. RCCF also supports initiatives with their community involvement in Hands Across Rockdale (HAR) and Leadership Rockdale Issues Day. RER

Rockdale Emergency Relief

Rockdale Emergency Relief (RER) provides emergency financial assistance, food and clothing to Rockdale County residents experiencing temporary financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances. Circumstances may be a job layoff, medical emergency or long-term illness. RER assists by ensuring families have access to the resources they need to help them maintain stable housing and work towards regaining financial stability.

RER’s work addresses the urgent needs of families suffering from financial insecurity, allowing them to maximize household resources in an effort to retain housing, find employment, and get back on the road to self-sufficiency. They were founded in 1967 as the Rockdale County Emergency Relief Fund, Inc. Over the past five decades, they have continued to grow in their ability to serve the residents of Rockdale County, expanding their portfolio of services to include a full-service food bank, summer lunch program for children, clothing distribution program, holiday assistance program, referrals for emergency housing, financial literacy education, and direct financial assistance.
