Rockdale Emergency Relief (RER), the longest running human service organization in Rockdale County, provides Rockdale County residents experiencing financial crisis and hardship with a variety of services. We focus on helping our community prevent homelessness and maintain home stability - believing in a hand up, not a hand out. Our current services include:

• Community food bank (Tuesdays and Thursdays 10AM - 1PM)

• Financial assistance for established Rockdale residents in the following areas - apartment rental, water, electricity or natural gas bill assistance

• Holiday assistance - partnering with Rotary clubs of Rockdale and Conyers, the holiday assistance program through RER enables families of Rockdale experiencing hardship to be able to supplement holiday gifts during difficult times. 

• School Lunch Break Program - Assisting, along with other area organizations, in providing lunches during school breaks within Rockdale County
